- A Nigerian man caused quite a stir on social media as he celebrated his 2nd anniversary with his husband

- He shared photos from their wedding and appeared to be very proud of his marriage

- People on the Nigerian social media, however, aren't finding it funny or even cute

Identified as David Shoen-Ukre, the Nigerian-born model who hails from Delta state left social media buzzing after he took to the platform to celebrate his wedding anniversary to his white husband.

He took to his Instagram page to celebrate their union. Sharing pictures taken on their wedding day, he wished his union a happy wedding anniversary.

Judging from his page, it appears David has been openly gay for a very long time. However, he may have become more vocal after he left the shores of Nigeria due to the country's anti-gay laws.
