Corps member shot dead in Kogi state over alleged involvement in robbery (photo)

A serving corps member has just been reported dead in Okpo Olamaboro local government area of Kogi state . It was said that the deceased was allegedly involved in an armed robbery attack in the state.

According to a Facebook user Stanislaus Yahaya Adejoh, he shared a picture of the deceased on social media. Adejoh disclosed that the corps member was shot dead in Okpo Olamaboro local government area of the state on Wednesday, July 25.

The police also revealed that the deceased and his gang members robbed an innocent citizen of his Highlander jeep and some money.

Adejoh’s post reads: “A serving corps member deployed to Jos Plateau state, Benue indigene shot dead in Okpo Olamaboro local government area of Kogi state, early this morning-25th July, 2018. According to police investigation, he was amongst the three armed robbery gang who robbed a Highlander Jeep and some money from a man whose identity is still unknown in Otukpo, Benue state. There came to lodge in a hotel at Okpo when the security personnel swing into action. Two escaped through GSS into the bush. Handsome & a graduate. What a painful exit to the deceased family.

Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian woman on Wednesday, July 4, cried out on Twitter after she lost her sister. The woman identified simply as Chinny alleged that her sister who is a corps member was shot dead in Abuja where she was serving.
