Uneducated 5-year-old Taju finally meets comedian AY (video)

Bold and confident 5-year-old Nigerian boy who has never been to school has finally met one of his volunteered benefactors.

The story of 5-year-old Taju started as a comic relief and now, he's found his way to getting the care and empowerment he and every Nigerian child deserves.

His story initially started as an internet sensation but his plight got to some Nigerian celebrities who volunteered to send him to school.

Yoruba actress Funmi Awelewa took it upon herself to locate the innocent child and shared his story on her Instagram page. It immediately caught the attention of comedian AY and Don Jazzy with the Mavin boss donating N500,000 for the education of Taju even when they have not known his whereabouts. Taju was found in Lagos by Awelewa and she took it upon herself to help him locate the helpers of his destiny.

Well, Taju has finally met AY in Lagos on Thursday, June 14, and the comedian reaffirms his promise to take him off the street and give him proper education.

While in AY’s office with his parents and actress Awelewa, Taju was asked his name which he answered and when asked of his age he reinstated that he does not know what they are saying he instead asked to be given cheese balls which he pronounced wrongly.
