Nollywood actress Susan Peters has taken to social media to share her views on bleaching. The actress who stated that she doesn't support bleaching, advised other women to be proud of being black.

The 37-year-old actress shared a post on her Instagram page, stating that she is proud to be black. She also advised people to say no to bleaching, urging them to love their skin colour because it is an assurance.

In the post, Peters shared a throwback photo of herself from years ago to show that she has always maintained her skin colour. She noted that people should love what God gave them.

She said: "Issa throw back, we are black and proud. We say no to bleached bodies. Love your skin color, that's your assurance, if you are fair or yellow that's what God gave you but don't bleach from black to white mbok. This is Nigeria Voting continues ooo mbok."

Susan Peters was born on May 30, 1980, into a military family in Ado local government area of Benue state. The actress who is also a model, an interior designer and beauty salon owner has won awards multiple times in the entertainment industry.

In 2011, she won the Afro Hollywood Best Actress Award for her role in Bursting Out, she also won the Best Actress in Supporting Role at the 2011, Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards.
