Booking procedure step by step (you can complete it from the comfort of your home):
Step 1. Visit the official German embassy in Nigeria website: http://www.nigeria.diplo.de/.
Step 2. Look at the right column. It has the contacts for Abuja’s center.
Step 3. You will see more information on the right side, including the ‘Email’ option.
Step 4. Click on the ‘Contact the German Missions Nigeria’ link and you will be forwarded to the booking page.
Step 5. Fill out the online appointment form. Choose ‘visa section Lagos’ or ‘visa and consular section Abuja’ (choose this second option only if you are eligible to apply for the document in Abuja embassy).
Step 6. Be attentive when you type in your name, physical address, phone number, and working email address.
Step 7. In the text field, you should explain the reasons why you have to travel to Germany. You should also assure that you are eligible for visa application and why you are eligible.
Step 8. Proofread what you have entered and click on the ‘Send’ button.
Remember that you should book an appointment in the German embassy in Nigeria after you have all the documents ready. You’ll need to have the completed visa application form, your personal documents, and copies of them.
