Governor Fayose speaks about IPOB's Biafra agitation

- Governor Fayose has accused the federal government of bias in treatment of Nigerians

- He advocated for all persons to be treated with equity

- The Ekiti governor said he was against the break-up of Nigeria and is not promoting the pro-Biafra agitators

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state has said that he is not promoting the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) but called on President Muhammadu Buhari to govern with fairness.

The governor has been accused by the All Progressives Congress (APC) of sponsoring IPOB, but the governor in a series of tweets on Sunday, September 24 said that was not the case.

Fayose insisted that President Muhammadu Buhari need not initiate a war against the group before it can be defeated.

He advised that fairness and justice can help put an end to the Biafra agitation.

Meanwhile, the deputy director of the Radio Biafra, Uche Mefor, released the historical details of the organisation, an arm of IPOB

The explanation comes as the federal government wants the radio station located in London shut for heating up the Nigerian polity and threatening its unity.
