Chinese tutorial on shooting down US F-35
The trend was well illustrated on March 14, when a detailed tutorial on how to take down the US's F-35, the most advanced and expensive American fighter jet, went viral on social media.
An account identified as “Laohu Talks World” reportedly created the tutorial and was subtitled in Persian, the Iranian official language. The video was said to have explained how Iran's military could use its low-cost systems to target and destroy the advanced stealth fighter.
The tutorial garnered tens of millions of views, and five days after “Laohu Talks World” made the post, on March 19, Iran reportedly struck a US F-35.
According to reports, the efforts to help Iran in its resistance fight against the US and Israel have been sustained on Chinese social media, as many with backgrounds in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) have created and shared content to help the Iranian efforts. Some appeared to share expert knowledge on military gadgets.
How the US-Israel vs Iran war started
Since the February attack, which not only took out the Supreme Leader but also his family members and other civilians, including over 160 school children, Iran has launched attacks on US allies in the region, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and several others.
The Gulf nation has attacked all the US military bases in the region, while not sparing Israel. Also, Iran did not look away from attacking other civilian facilities that the US has in its allies' countries, including oil wells. This is a result of the continuous bombing of civilian facilities in Iran, including schools, universities, and several other facilities, by the US and Israel.
Iran has topped up the game by closing the Strait of Hormuz, a waterway where 20 per cent of the global oil passes through daily, turning the war into an economic crisis for the global market, leading to a sudden and outrageous increase in the prices of fuel and gas across the world.
