The result leaves the Red Devils in 14th place with four points and a minus-three goal difference after the opening four matches of the 2025/26 season.
United have started the season in the worst way possible, having been eliminated from the Carabao Cup by League Two side Grimsby Town, as noted by BBC Sport.

Head coach Ruben Amorim, who is under increasing pressure to turn things around, claimed that he would not change his philosophy.
“I am not going to change,” he told Sky Sports about his philosophy after the match. “When I want to change my philosophy, I will change.
“If not, you have to change the man. We will talk about that after every game that we lose. I don’t believe in that, in the system, or whatever. I believe in my way, and I am going to play my way until I want to change.
“My message is that I am going to give everything. I will do everything, always thinking about what is best for the club. That was always the same message."
The Portuguese also admitted that the decision over his future is out of his hands, and he will accept whatever decision the club makes after a dismal start to the season.
The adamant nature irked the United fans, who have begun to call for him to be relieved of his duties and replaced by former boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
