Nigerian rapper Asake is steadily winning over American soccer players following his earlier interactions with English Premier League stars.

The "Mr Money" crooner is currently in the United States of America, where he is spending quality time and self-isolating.

The 30-year-old earned a spot amongst the favourite songs of World Cup winner Paul Pogba, while he was speaking with YouTuber Speed.

In a post on X, Asake was introduced to the match official by the stadium manager to perform a coin toss for both teams.

The captains of both teams were excited to see the superstar while performing the match ritual. The referees, captain, and Asake pose for a photograph session after the completion of the coin toss.

The songwriter displayed his football skills at the sideline of the pitch before Cameroonian football star Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who plays for NY Red Bulls, poses for a photograph.

NY Red Bulls held by Columbus

New York Red Bulls played a goalless draw against Columbus Crew at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison on Sunday morning.

According to ESPN, goalkeeper Patrick Schulte ensured the visiting team left with a point, having four crucial saves and earning his third clean sheet of the season.

Cameroonian international Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting had the best opportunity of the game but failed to convert his chances.
