Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber has made a bold prediction about the club’s future after their opening-day victory against Manchester United in the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Arsenal have been runners-up for the last three seasons, but their win at Old Trafford, sealed by a Ricardo Calafiori header, was a strong statement of intent, The Telegraph reports.
Timber, who came on as a second-half substitute against Manchester United, insisted the performance showed Arsenal’s readiness to take the final step.
“With Arteta as our manager, the best times at Arsenal are coming. The culture he has created with his vision of football is bringing Arsenal to new heights,” Timber declared.
