Kepa Arrizabalaga has reportedly stated that he will return as Chelsea's number one when they host Man United at Stamford Bridge.

The Spanish goalkeeper has been relegated to the bench by Frank Lampard, missing the Blues FA Cup fixture against Hull City and the Premier League clash at Leicester City.

But the former Athletic Bilbao shot-stopper believes has done enough in training to return against the Red Devils in front of their home fans.

According to SunSport Lampard and Kepa had a discussion in training during the winter break in preparation for the crunch match against United.

Willy Caballero conceded three goals in the matches against Hull City and Leicester after being given a starting shirt.

The Argentine goalies was blamed for the Foxes second goal which has boosted Kepa's chances of returning into the fold.

Lampard's side are chasing a top-four finish this season but their lead have been cut down to just two points in the qualification spot.

Kepa is currently Spain's number one and the 26-year-old is looking to maintain his spot at club level to keep his place ahead of David de Gea.
