John Terry has given fans a view about what to expect when his fancy mansion under renovation is complete, The Sun, Daily Mail.

The Aston Villa assistant manager revealed the changes going on in his swimming pool and tennis court outside on his Instagram handle for the past few months.

Reflecting-white fixtures and fittings can be seen being installed in the £4.35m Surrey mansion in what was previously a shell of a house.

The renovation was near completion as the floor were being laid and one of the videos posted was captioned 'wine and cigar room'.

In another video the Chelsea legend showed the pool foundations installed which just remains the tiles and it would be ready to splash into it.

The luxury airy exterior of the property is complete with a classy combination of red brick and exposed stone.

He also showed off a bit of Chelsea memorabilia he earned for making his 100th Champions League appearance which was handed to him against Sporting Lisbon in 2014.

It is unknown if the mansion is ready for Terry and his family to move in but the former England captain will be hoping it would be available this summer.

Terry is attached with Aston Villa as the assistant manager to current boss, Dean Smith and both have flourished with the club in their two seasons together in the Championship and the Premier League.

However, the 40-year-old has cast his sights beyond his job at Villa Park, detailing his long-term desire to take charge at Stamford Bridge.

The legendary defender appeared to take inspiration from former teammate Frank Lampard and fellow countryman Steven Gerrard who have transitioned to managerial roles since they hanged their boots.
