The event was set for September 12, 2025, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos State.

Hilda Baci walks barefoot inside jollof pot

Ahead of the cooking, Hilda was seen barefoot inside the pot while washing it for the cooking event.

An X user @teeniiola posted a video where Hilda was washing the pot in preparation for the cookoff.

How Hilda Baci prepared for jollof festival

Hilda Baci earlier announced that the event, which was earlier scheduled to be held at Muri Okunola Park, would now be held at Eko Hotel and Suites.

Weeks ago, Hilda Baci and her crew test-ran the pot she was going to use for her latest kitchen quest.

On Thursday, she announced that the pot arrived at Eko Hotel by 4 am ahead of the record-breaking event.
