Kind Kid Wins Hearts, Donates Clothes to Homeless Children so They Won’t Be Cold During Winter

  • A nine-year-old boy, Korbin, is on a mission to give clothes to as many homeless kids as possible in America
  • Partnering with an NGO called 16 Cent, 3 Shows & 5 Socks, the kid was able to get plenty of item donations from people
  • Korbin will be giving out items such as warmer, gloves, and socks to children to keep them warm in the cold

Korbin, a very kind 9-year-old boy is putting big smiles on the faces of foster children and making sure that they have good clothes.

The young boy has been on a mission to collect hundreds of winter hats, gloves and scarfs for both foster and homeless kids, Understanding Compassion reports.

He succeeded

Before he launched his initiative, he always participated in a donation drive hosted by 16 Cents, 3 Shoes & 5 Socks, a charity that calls for donations for homeless people.

The organisation soon partnered with the kid and he got many donations that amounted to three full barrels of items.

What a heart of gold

A photo of him shared online showed him smiling as he posed behind the three barrels of items he got. Promoting what the boy does, the organisation wrote:

“9-year-old Korbin visited the Crazy Campout with even more donations for foster kids. So far, Korbin has filled three barrels with hats, gloves, and scarves. Korbin’s donations will be given to foster kids during the holiday season. Donate new hats, gloves, and scarves for foster kids ages newborn to 18 years old.”

Teacher surprised by students

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a man, David Blakey, was wearing a particular shoe since 1997 when he got his first pair of Jordan sneakers.

It was gathered that after giving it out whenever the students requested to wear it on the basketball court, its sole fell out. When that happened, the man could not buy a new one.

Finding out about how their teacher was not rich enough to buy a new pair, his students decided to do something about it.

The classmates from Etobicoke School of Arts in Canada all donated money and ordered a new Jordan online.
