Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, has announced the death of his childhood friend, Alhaji Muhammad Baba Suleiman Jada (MB Suleiman Jada)

Atiku said his friend, Jada, passed away at the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Yola, Adamawa state capital.

He broke the sad news via his X handle @atiku on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

"I just received with deep sadness the news of the passing of Alhaji Muhammad Baba Suleiman Jada (MB Suleiman Jada), a beloved childhood friend of mine, who departed this world at the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Yola."

Atiku Abubakar expressed deep sadness over Jada's death, stating that people will remember the deceased for his kindness, humility, and contributions to his community.

"Alhaji MB Suleiman Jada will be remembered for his kindness, humility, and contributions to his community. His loss is deeply felt by family, friends, and all who knew him."

He prayed that Allah should give Jada's loved ones the strength and patience to bear the irreparable loss.

"I pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him Jannatul Firdaus, and gives his loved ones the strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss.
"May Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon him. Ameen"
