FCT, Abuja - The Wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Dr Nonye Soludo, has been conferred with the 2025 First Lady of the Year in Healthcare and Child Support Award.
The award was given to her at the Nigerian Humanitarian Awards & Magazine ceremony held at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja.

Anambra first Lady expresses gratitude
In her acceptance remarks, Dr Soludo said she was deeply grateful for the recognition and pledged to sustain her humanitarian work.
“I couldn’t be any less grateful for the grace of consistency and support. Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo has come to stay,” she affirmed.
Reflecting on the significance of the award, she noted that every recognition brings greater expectations and responsibility.
“For each laurel and accolade that come our way, we take them in the manner of greater expectations. This one is special,” she said.
Dedication to children and community
Dr Soludo dedicated the award to members of the Healthy Living community and to the children of Anambra State.
“To all of you who come out each Saturday morning to work out with me and to all the beautiful children in Anambra whose life and future have been reassured by what we do. This is for you. You are the pride of what we do!” she declared.

Anambra first lady sympathises with assaulted corps member
Previously, Legit.ng reported that The wife of Anambra state governor, Nonye Soludo, has said that she contacted the corps member assaulted by the state’s vigilance operatives, Udo-ga-chi, Jennifer Elohor, to sympathise with her over the unfortunate incident.
