Femi Osibona: Photos Emerge as APC governor Visits Father of Late Ikoyi Building's Owner

Ikenne, Ogun - Governor Dapo Abiodun on Sunday, November 7, paid a condolence visit to Chief Emmanuel Osibona, the bereaved father of late Femi Osibona, the developer of the collapsed Ikoyi edifice.

Chief Osibona, according to Ogun governor, is the Baba Ijo of Our Saviour's Anglican Church, Ikenne.

On his Facebook page, Governor Abiodun said he commiserated with the deceased's father over the unfortunate incident and prayed God to grant him and the entire family the fortitude to bear what he called a sad and irreparable loss.

His words:

"Last night, I paid a condolence visit to the Baba Ijo of Our Saviour's Anglican Church, Ikenne, Chief Emmanuel Osibona, who is the father of late Olufemi Adegoke Osibona.
"Mr Olufemi, who was the owner of Fourscore Homes, passed away, having been trapped in the collapsed 21-storey Ikoyi building.
"I commiserate with Baba over the unfortunate incident and pray God grant him and the entire family the fortitude to bear this sad and irreparable loss."

Good night brother: Dele Momodu mourns the death of Osibona

Meanwhile, Dele Momodu, a former presidential candidate and popular journalist, had reacted to the recovery of the body of Femi Osibona from the rubble of the 21-storey building which collapsed in Ikoyi, Lagos state on Monday, November 1.

After days of continuous search and rescue operations, Osibona's body was eventually found on Thursday, November 4, as the death toll from the incident rose to over 30.

Reacting via an Instagram post, Momodu who recently joined the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2023 elections said:

"Good night my very dear friend and Brother FEMI FOURSCORE OSIBONA... RIP.
"Unbelievable, but who are we to challenge GOD... Rest in Peace my own friend and Brother FEMI FOURSCORE OSIBONA..."
