Evicted Big Brother Naija housemates, Victory and Gigi Jasmine, have shared their thoughts on who they believe will walk away with the grand prize this season.

The pair, who were sent packing penultimate weekend.

They sat down with Legit.ng for an exclusive chat where they opened up about their eviction, their experiences in the house, and the contestants they’re rooting for.

Gigi, Victory’s picks for the crown

Asked who they believed stood the best chance of winning, Victory quickly named Imisi. According to him, despite Imisi being widely misunderstood, she embodies authenticity.

He stated:

“Imisi can win the show. She is very real and actually lovable despite her misunderstood personality.”

For Gigi Jasmine, it was Mensah who stood out. She described him as a housemate whose presence resonates with both contestants and fans.

She stated:

“I see Mensah winning. There is something endearing about him."

Victory, Gigi on their eviction

When asked about his eviction, Victory insisted that he had no regrets.

He admitted:

“I was surprised that I was evicted. I don’t think it was anyone’s fault. We were just laughing about it. I feel it was just time.”

For Gigi, her journey was about staying true to herself. She insisted that she entered the house without a game plan or calculated moves.

She said:

“I was authentic. I came in with no strategy. The strategy was to be myself and enjoy the moment, and I was so grateful to be there."

On her emotional moments, which viewers often talked about, she clarified that it wasn’t part of any strategy.

He stated:

“It was not a strategy. I am a very emotional person, but I got more emotional than usual because of the pressure in the house. At the end of the day, we are humans. Others had their moments, but the camera kept showing mine.”

Relationship with Victory outside the house

Addressing her relationship with Victory, Gigi explained that they had an honest conversation once they were both evicted.

She shared:

“We actually had that conversation as soon as we were evicted and decided to go back into the real world with a clean slate. We re-introduced ourselves and are trying to understand each other better. We are not worried or rushing anything."
