Videos from the final burial ceremony of late actor Segun Remi, aka Chief Kanran have surfaced online.

The veteran actor, known for his work in the Yoruba movie genre, unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago, on August 15, 2025.

While the cause of his death remains unknown, the movie industry has been left in mourning.

In one of the videos shared on social media, his lifeless body was placed in a white coffin for viewing.

Many women who attended the ceremony were overcome with emotion, some nearly fainting upon seeing his corpse.

Pallbearesr flaunt skills at Kanran's burial

In another video, pallbearers were seen dancing in front of the white coffin, showcasing their skills in an attempt to entertain the mourners present at the burial.

A man, holding a photo of the deceased, also joined the pallbearers in the dance, while a woman was seen spraying money on the coffin.

Sister pays tribute to late Kanran

During her tribute, the elder sister of the late actor spoke warmly of him, saying he was loved by all

. She shared that if he were attending another person's funeral, he would have danced joyfully, as he was always there to support others. With tears in her eyes, she prayed for the repose of his soul, acknowledging that her brother, like everyone, had his flaws.

Other family members also joined in honoring him, speaking highly of the kind of life he lived when he was alive. Recall that the late actor's family shared plans for his burial a few days ago.

US-based woman calls out Kanran

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a US-based woman reacted to Chief Kanran's interview with Pastor Gabriel on Instagram.

Following the interview, a Nigerian woman based in America, Auto Bola, came online to call out the actor.
