Clarifying the cause of his death, the family announced that he passed away after a brief illness.

The statement read:

"We wish to clearly state that Sola did not pass away as a result of any bathroom accident, contrary to false reports being circulated online. He was briefly unwell and, during this period, received first-class medical care.
