Clarifying the cause of his death, the family announced that he passed away after a brief illness.
The statement read:
"We wish to clearly state that Sola did not pass away as a result of any bathroom accident, contrary to false reports being circulated online. He was briefly unwell and, during this period, received first-class medical care.
"Despite the best efforts of the medical team, he peacefully answered the call of his Creator. These misleading stories… not only dishonour his memory but also bring unnecessary pain to his loved ones”.
