Singer Johnny Drille Gets Emotional As Mum, Dad Other Family Members Leave His House After Spending Few Days

Nigerian singer Johnny Drille tapped into his emotional side in a recent post shared with fans on his Instagram page.

The music star started his post by telling readers how he enjoys spending time alone and focusing on his music.

He, however, disclosed that the only time he gets to have a full house is when his family members travel all the way to Lagos from Benin to participate in his annual Johnny’s Room Live (JRL) show.

Unfortunately, Drille said he couldn't get to spend time with them in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He wrote:

"2020, the year of the pandemic was hard and the first year I didn’t spend as much time with my family, so when 2021 came I was very excited about having them around again."

He begged them to stay longer

The singer narrated how his 4-bedroom mansion in Lagos came alive with the arrival of his parents and other family members.

Drille said it felt like he was back at home in Benin and he had to beg his family members to stay for a while even after the end of his 2021 JRL show.

The singer said he asked them to stay one more day and they obliged. However, his next request for an extension wasn't granted as they had to return to Benin.

Drille said his mum left some goodies before leaving, adding that the entire event had made him realise how he wants a family of his own.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that comic star Lord Lamba made his mum happy after fulfilling his promise of a luxury car to her.

The comic star shared photos on his Instagram page that captured his mum striking poses with her new ride.

A video post also captured the excited mum driving her son around in the new ride as he complimented her.
