Dangote direct fuel supply

The drop in fuel prices come as one of the benefits of the Dangote refinery free direct distribution of petrol.

The reason the price drop is now nationwide is because of challenges in the procurement of 4,000 brand-new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered tankers for the initiative.

Reuters reports that the refinery has only taken possession of 1,000 trucks.

The refinery has also invested in CNG stations, commonly referred to as daughter booster stations, supported by a fleet of over 100 CNG tankers across the country to ensure seamless product distribution.

Dangote in an earlier statement revealed that the distribution is for marketers, petrol dealers, manufacturers, telecoms firms, aviation, and other large users across the country.
