PDP: 'APC Should Be Ashamed Of Itself'
PDP, Peoples Democratic Party, declared that it won't be distracted by the attacks from the opposition party.
As stated by Olisa Metuh, the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, the party remains committed to holding back unemployment.
Metuh added that the APC should be 'ashamed of itself' for playing politics considering unfortunate deaths of Nigerians at the stampede that occured during recruitment test by the Nigeria Immigration Service. He also noted that APC lacked respect for human life, due to their politicising weighty issues of it while families of those who died were still mourning.
Metuh claims that APC's actions were aimed at scoring easy political points.
As for the statement by APC, Metuh described it as "crass", and it further positioned APC as a party of insensitive persons blinded by an inordinate quest for power."
Metuh added that since the stampede, the PDP has urged all the responsible agencies and people to perform a thorough investigation of the causes and details of the incident. According to him, The Federal Government is already launching a response to the stampede.
