Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly blocked TransferMarkt from tagging him on social media because of how he his market value was downgraded.

For more than ten years, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star has been at the top of his game which has given him five Ballon d'Or awards so far.

The only man who has won more Ballon d'Or award more than Cristiano Ronaldo is his biggest rvial Lionel Messi who is having six.

So far this season with Italian champions Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo has been in great form for the Old Lady scoring 21 goals in 21 games which is an incredible record.

At the time Ronaldo had scored 21 goals in 21 Serie A games, including 11 in a row, he was given a valuation of £67.5 million which is a drop from the £88 million Juventus paid to sign him from Real Madrid in 2018.

According to the report on Sportbible, Cristiano Ronaldo was not happy with such value given to him and had to press the block button on his Instagram account.

The value given to Cristiano Ronaldo means that the Portuguese is occupying 37th position in the world market.

PSG and France sensation Kylian Mbappe leads the way with a €180 million market value while Barcelona legend Lionel Messi is 22nd on the list with a €80 million valuation.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how an unofficial report stated that Portugal international and Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo finished as fifth-best in the 2020 Ballon d'Or awards even though the gala night was cancelled.
