Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, recently stepped out for an event with his beautiful queens and the king made quite an impression at the social function.

A video that surfaced on social media captured the moment the revered monarch and his wives approached the dance floor where fuji musician and Mayegun of Yoruba land, Wasiu Ayinde, was thrilling guests with his performance.

The king wasted no time in raining fresh bundles of N500 notes on the musician as he sang his praises.

Alaafin was also spotted by his wives who continued to hand new bundles of cash to him as he exhausted the one at hand.

A different portion of the video captured the musician reciprocating the monarch’s kind gesture by raining N1000 notes on him.

This was followed by the fuji star reaching for a list and hailing the 12 wives of the king. Surprisingly, an Igbo lady was also mentioned among the king’s wives.

Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yoruba land, Gani Adams, was also spotted at the event. Just like the monarch, he also sprayed the musician with money.

Some weeks ago, Legit.ng reported that the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III celebrated his 50th anniversary as a traditional monarch.

The revered king who thanked his people for their love stated that ascending the throne was a dream come true for him. His youngest wife, Queen Dami, also took to social media to praise and eulogise her husband on the special occasion.
