- A young woman with a grateful heart recently headed to Facebook to share a touching post about finally getting a job
- According to her post, she had walked to the office for the interview, which made her even more grateful when she got it
- Many congratulated her on the new job and also commended her determination
Megan Christoffels once again headed to Facebook's ImStaying to share yet another moving story. This time, the young woman shared that she had been forced to walk to an interview because she had no money for taxi fare.
Her determination paid off as she was called in for training the very next day.
"Good day Stayers. So yesterday I had an interview but at 1st I told myself I can't go to this interview because I had no taxi fare. I had a conversation with myself telling myself why I need this job and decided to walk.
"When I got to the place the reception lady asked if I was fine because I was sweating and a bit hot. I told her I was fine and asked her if I could use the bathroom. I refreshed myself and went to wait for my turn. Tomorrow I start a 7-day training."
Many Stayers were happy for her and had this to say:
Raylene Sayers said:
"Congratulations and well done."
Leonora Scriven said:
"Good for you, your perseverance paid off."
Ruby Rose said:
"Congratulations. Let this be the start of bigger things."
Kika Magalhaes said:
"Well done for persevering!"
Merle Kotzé said:
"Determination & perseverance paid. Well done."
