A Nigerian OAP called @smoothgenie has gone down memory lane to remember a time in his life when he was struggling to survive. The radio personality revealed that it was his mum who put him in that bad position.

According to him, it is a past that he finds very hard to forget. @smoothgenie said that whenever he drives on the Marina bridge going to the mainland, memories of how he once lived under the bridge for almost three weeks always flashes back at him.

The radioman noted that he was under the bridge even on New Year's Eve.

@smoothgenie revealed that it all started when he tried to caution his mum about his step-father. According to him, he told her that her new husband had an ulterior motive. As a result of that, they all travelled abroad, including his step-siblings, and left him behind.

The radioman said that it was only a t-shirt they got for him when they returned back to the country.

The media man said that he's been carrying the hurt for so many years. According to him, he feels sorry for his mum whenever he looks at her.

Although he did not reveal her current position, he noted that he is the one taking care of his mother.
