The past few weeks have been tough for a lot of Nigerians, especially for those in states that are currently under lockdown in other to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Amidst the lockdown, some public figures and celebrities have taken it upon themselves to provide relief items for vulnerable citizens and those who are finding it hard to feed their families.

One such celebrity is Nollywood actress Victoria Kolawole. The movie star shared a video on her official Instagram page that captured the moment she was distributing sachets of instant noodles to people on the streets of Lagos.

However, shortly after sharing the video, the film star’s comment section was flooded with negative remarks from people who felt that it was bad of her to give out a single sachet of instant noodles.

Kolawole in turn wasted no time in putting her trolls on full blast. The actress called out a particular troll and others that joined him in posting negative comments about her giveway.

She noted that the comments from such people are what discourage those who want to come out and help with the little they have.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously gathered the report of actress and comedian, Wofai Fada, who came out to address people who have been flooding her direct messaging channel with account numbers. The actress noted that the rate of online begging is getting irritating. She said people should understand that everyone is currently faced with the same predicament.
