Daddy Freeze reacts after RCCG church was untouched in Abule Egba fire

- Nigerian OAP, Daddy Freeze, has reacted to reports of the Abule Egba fire that left an RCCG house fellowship centre untouched

- This comes after the general overseer Pastor Adeboye reacted to the fire, likening it to the plague in the Bible that overlooked the Israelites in Egypt

- Daddy Freeze, however, is of the opinion that God does not show favouritism

Controversial Nigerian OAP and church critic, Daddy Freeze, has taken to social media to react to Pastor Adeboye's message following the Abule Egba fire that claimed 5 lives but left an RCCG house fellowship centre untouched.

The general overseer had reacted to the fire with a Bible verse that spoke about how the Israelites were spared in the plague that took place in Egypt, suggesting the fellowship centre being spared was a work of God.

This, however, did not sit well with Daddy Freeze, who wasted no time in countering the view. According to the leader of the Free The Sheeple movement, God does not practice favouritism and the house not affected by the fire is not a sign that God was protecting the house.

He wrote: "Dear Pastor Adeboye, In my humble opinion, you need to get out of the Exodus mind space as our new covenant does not lend credence to the ideology that God would afflict an area with a plague but protect Redeemers while at it.

"One house left untouched while others perish is NOT a sign that God is protecting that house, as the scriptures below, from our own covenant, not the expired covenant of Exodus 12:13 that you quoted, affirm. Suggesting that God protected only one poverty drenched house over the others is going against both logic and scripture and I suggest that you begin embracing this reality."
