Elon Musk to spend New Year's Eve at Tesla's California factory

- Elon Musk says he will be spending his New Year's eve at work

- This according to him, is to help with vehicle deliveries

- Musk didn't give specifics to how he would be spending his time at work

When many people are looking forward to spending the New Year eve far away from the workplace, Tesla CEO Elon Musk says he plans to spend the day much as he has spent many others at work.

He disclosed this in a tweet on Monday, December 30.

In the tweet, the Tesla boss disclosed that he's heading to Tesla's factory in Fremont, California on New Year's Eve. He said this is "to help with vehicle deliveries."

Musk disclosed this in response to somebody who suggested he might spend the day at a SpaceX facility in Boca Chica, Texas.

However, he did not specify how he would spend his time at work.

Musk who is known for pulling extra-long work sessions didn't specify whether he intends to work a normal day in Fremont.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, became richer by $27.3billion this year. The rise in wealth came despite growing criticism of his monopoly on social media.

Facebook Inc gained 1.81 per cent after reporting an uptick in users in lucrative markets and its third straight rise in quarterly sales growth in October, helping the CEO bring his new total wealth to $79.4billion.

The 35-year-old made Forbes' top 5 in the list of 500 wealthiest people in the world even though he'd had a tough year.
