A former Nigerian senator and ex-minister, Jeremiah Useni, has reportedly revealed those who are to be blamed for the perceived wrongs in the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

The Cable reports that Useni in Jos on Friday, December 20, said President Buhari's advisers should bear the blame for his administration's alleged wrongdoings.

Useni who is also a former minister of the FCT justified his statement by explaining that the president depends on his advisers as he does not take all the decisions by himself.

“As president, Buhari does not do everything by himself; he has advisers. If you have advisers and they advise you properly, you will do proper thing but when you have bad advisers, you will have problems,” Useni was quoted to have said.

The former senator further explained that there are both good and bad advisers in an administration and the bad advisers should be blamed if anything goes wrong.

The former minister said politics should be for people who are ready to help the people and society by solving their problems, not for people given to falsehood.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that President Buhari congratulated some governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on their victories affirmed by the Supreme Court on Wednesday, December 18.

In his congratulatory message to the APC governors, President Buhari expressed his joy over their victories in what he called legal battles.

The president said that it is now time for the governors to work hard and ensure that they make good all their campaign promises to those who voted them into power in the various states.
