Ex-BBA contestant Tayo Faniran accuses SA rapper Aka of xenophobia

- Ex Big Brother Africa contestant Tayo Faniran has accused South African rapper, Aka, of being xenophobic

- This he claimed because of the artistes recent statement over Nigeria winning their match against South Africa in AFCON 2019

- Some Nigerians are demanding that Aka apologises for his statement that border along the lines of xenophobia

Legit.ng earlier reported how South African rapper, Aka, ranted on Twitter over Nigeria winning against South Africa in the AFCON 2019 quarter final match. The rapper who seemed hurt by the loss of the Bafana Bafana made bold statements that people are claiming were to incite and support xenophobia.

Just recently, ex Big Brother Africa contestant Tayo Faniran, shared a screenshot of Aka's tweets on Instagram and stated that they were xenophobic statements and the rapper was wrong for using his platform to promote division.

Faniran called out the rapper and demanded that he tenders an apology to Nigerians as football should be a game of unity and not of division.

Tayo who bashed Aka expressed disappointment that the rapper will spew such hatred towards Nigerians over his country losing a match.

Meanwhile, Aka's anger must have stemmed from the fact that he lost a BET award to Burna Boy a short while back. Recall that both Teni and Burna were nominated for awards in the Black Excellence Television awards show, while Teni didn't get the award, Burna made many Nigerians proud when he won the award for Best International Act.
