Two beautiful sisters become co-wives, happily married to Oba of Benin

- Two sisters have made their way to headlines after accepting to marry Oba of Benin Ewuare II

- Reports claim that both sisters are teenagers as they are less than 20

- It was also gathered that the Oba was first married to the elder sister before getting married to the younger one who came visiting the palace

It is not rare in African culture for a man to marry more than one wife. It is also not bizarre if the women are friends but it is only once in a while one hears of two sisters marrying one man.

Such has happened in the case of Oba of Benin Ewuare II who is happily married to seven women with two of them being blood-related sisters from the same parents.

Reports claim that the Oba first married the elder sister but added the second sibling to his list of wives after she came visiting her elder sister and he spotted her. Now, both siblings are married to the king and seem happy about being co-wives.

It was gathered that the sisters who are from Edo state, are reportedly teenagers and their parents agreed to the union. According to reports, the father of the girls is the manager of Oba Akenzua cultural complex.
