The past few weeks have been riddled with ups and downs for popular Nigerian music acts Zlatan Ibile and Naira Marley, following their arrest by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), for allegations bordering on advanced fee fraud.
In a positive turn of events for one of the duo, Zlatan Ibile, he was released by the anti-graft agency while his counterpart remained in custody after incriminating materials were found on his computer.
Recall that Legit.ng reported that Naira Marley made his first court appearance on Monday, May 20, and was remanded in prison after pleading not guilty to the 11-count charge preferred against him.
His good friend Zlatan, has now penned a note of solidarity to him on social media and expressed that he would always have nothing but love for him, despite harsh circumstances.
Sharing a video of Naira Marley performing at different events, Zlatan noted in his caption that people may hate and judge his good friend, but they would never be able change the plans of the almighty in his life.
He noted that he would keep holding the fort while the storm passes, adding that his love for Marley extends beyond friendship, but also dates back to when he used to be a strong fan of his music.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier gathered that the EFCC recently hosted stakeholders in the entertainment industry at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja, for an interaction session.
The acting chairman Ibrahim Magu, expressed that the anti-graft agency had no personal vendetta against entertainers and charged them to join the fight against corruption.
