These are not the best of time for French giants Paris Saint-Germain as star striker Neymar will face around three months on the sidelines after his operation which will take place this Saturday, March 3.
Brazil's national team doctors after accessing their captain confirmed the degree of his horrific injuries.
Neymar suffered a fractured metatarsal during the 3-0 victory over Marseille and he opted to undergo an operation.
The decision meant he would certainly be out for the Champions League last-16 return against Real Madrid, but it appears he will now miss the majority of the remainder of the campaign.

The former Barcelona attacker was pictured in a wheelchair as he prepared to board a flight to Rio de Janeiro — and Brazil doctor Rodrigo Lasmar confirmed: "He will be out for around two-and-a-half and three months.
