7 players Arsene Wenger needs to sell this summer
With Alexandre Lacazette set to join the huge number of attackers at Arsenal this season, many player will have to be sold to free up space for the Frenchman.
Arsene Wenger signed a two year contract at the end of last season which means a lot of his favorites will not be sold; Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil quickly come to mind.
However if the Gunners want to do better than their fifth place finish last season, they need to sell the following players;
1. Lucas Perez
Showed his quality when played but Perez would need to be sold as Lacazette is coming in. He is a quality player but Wenger seems to trust Danny Welbeck more for reasons unknown.

2. Chuba Akpom
What happened to Akpom? He was supposed to be better than Alex Iwobi but he has regressed while the other has progressed. Hasn't shown the quality everyone knows he has.
3. Mathieu Debuchy
He was one of the world's best at Newcastle but then injuries crept in after his move to Arsenal. He just needs to be let go. No need keeping him.

4. Keiran Gibbs
Along with Theo Walcott, he is everything bad about Arsenal. Good in their younger years but never developed and really mediocre.

5. Carl Jenkinson
For some reason, Jenkinson has not left the Gunners. He spent two years on loan at West Ham where he showed flashes of quality and even earned an England call-up but then an ankle injury cut him short.

6. Theo Walcott
Just over 100 goals for the Gunners in 10 years is really mediocre for a player who has failed to develop into the next Thierry Henry. What really does he offer asides pace. A rich man's Ahmed Musa.

7. Francis Coquelin
Watching Eden Hazard turning him inside out last season was all you needed to know about the Frenchman. Good against average players, mediocre against the elite performers. Can never be a Patrick Viera.
