A giant sea turtle was captured and killed in Imo state.
The sea turtle while swimming in the river as usual got stuck to a fisherman's fishing hook and was made into dinner. The fisherman caught the turtle at the Imo river, Ihitte Uboma area of Imo state.

It has become a common phenomenon for Nigerians to kill and consume any sea animal caught on land, no matter how big or gigantic it is.
Is it right to just hop and kill these creatures and consume them or are people supposed to find a way to help them back into the sea or maybe the government needs to step in?
