Huge surprise as top La Liga star spotted driving borrowed 1980 Fiat Panda car to training

Yannick Carrasco who plays as a winger for Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and Belgium national team has been spotted driving to training in his neighbour's retro Fiat Panda.

In recent days, there has been serious snowfall in Spain which has affected the movement of players and other people most especially in the country's capital.

And to ensure he made it to Atletico Madrid training in time because of the situation, the Belgian borrowed his neighbour's old school 4X4 which moves well on the snow.

The 27-year-old player was not the only one inside the car as he picked two of his teammates Thomas Lemar and Simon Versajko to training on Monday, January 11.

According to the report on Sportsbible, Yannick Carrasco was comfortable in the old school car he drove to training.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid have been superb this season in the Spanish La Liga and they are currently topping the standings with 38 points after 15 games.

Yannick Carrasco began his career with Monaco where he scored 20 goals in 105 professional games winning Ligue 2 in his first season and finishing runner-up in Ligue 1 in the second.

In 2015, he joined La Liga side Atletico Madrid for a reported €20 million scoring in the final as they were runners-up in the UEFA Champions League.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are interested in the signing of Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso and are ready to move for him in the January 2021 transfer.
