Liverpool will be without Fabinho in their upcoming Premier League clash against West Ham United.

The utility center-back was forced off the pitch during their Champions League win over FC Midtjylland in midweek.

Jurgen Klopp confirmed that the Brazil international will not be available in the crucial tie against the high flying Hammers.

The German boss told reporters:

“Fab is not in, that’s clear. He got a little injury and so he will be out for the weekend and probably slightly longer.

“That’s one thing, but all the others who are fit will be in contention, either on the pitch or on the bench and coming on.”

Klopp did not comment about Mohamed Salah who limped off after the win against the Danish sid eat Anfield.

Reds captain Jordan Henderson was also substituted at half-time against Midtjylland but the former Dortmund manager played down fitness problems as reasons for the midfielder being taken off.

“Jordan Henderson did not have a fitness problem. Responsible is maybe the better word for [the substitution].
“I can count a little bit and so I can count the games we played, I can count all the games the players played and we have to try to get through this period.
“If you have a look at the schedule then you see the month like October is a month like a usual December and November is a month like a usual December. Then December is still December, so that means we have the intensity of the most hectic schedule, which we have every year in December [but] we have it now already and that’s why we have to make these kind of decisions.
“We will make them as long as we can make them. The boys are ready to go.”

Liverpool bounced back to a 7-2 defeat at Aston Villa to play a 2-2 draw with Everton, then beat Sheffield United by 2-1 despite going a goal down.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Mohamed Salah was spotted on camera limping heavily after the conclusion of their Champions League win over Midtjylland, Mirror.

The Liverpool striker came in as a second-half substitute to help his side defeat the stubborn Danish club at Anfield.

Diogo Jota had earlier put his side ahead, six minutes after the restart before Salah scored a penalty in the final minutes of the match.
