Bashir Ahmad who is the Personal Assistant on New Media to President Buhari has recounted Real Madrid's superb victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

On April 29, 2014, Real Madrid produced one of the best performances in world football when they defeated hosts Bayern Munich in the Champions League semifinal second leg.

Real Madrid then under Carlo Ancelloti managed to beat Bayern Munich 1-0 in the first leg of the Champions League semifinal at the Bernabeu.

The expectation from many football fans then was that Real Madrid would be destroyed in the return leg in Germany by Bayern under Pep Guardiola.

But reverse was the case as Los Blancos recorded an emphatic 4-0 win in which Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo netted brace to reach the final on 5-0 aggregate.

Sergio Ramos scored two headers from set-pieces in the 16th and 20th minute before Cristiano Ronaldo rounded off a counter-attack to all but end the game as a contest.

Ahmad has now recounted the fun the encounter brought to the world.

''You all remember this day? 29/04/2014. Real Madrid ruled the world that night, it was madly fun. We really miss #HalaMadrid.

''We really miss the normal world. Things will soon be over, and the business will continue,''. he explained on his official twitter page.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Liverpool striker Sadio Mane is reportedly getting set to betray manager Jurgen Klopp by completing a big move to Spanish giants Real Madrid at the end of the season.

And if that happens, it will be a big blow for manager Jurgen Klopp who has been enjoying the pairing of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah up front.
