Adamawa Govt Reacts to Critics, Lists Fintiri's Achievements

The Adamawa state government has rubbished claim that Governor Ahmadu Fintiri’s administration has performed poorly in terms of health, education and infrastructure.

The Senior Special Assistant to Adamawa Governor on Media & Content Creation, Miracle Musa, said the wave of criticisms targeted at the administration are from some APC-aligned voices.

Musa said Governor Fintiri’s leadership is not about empty promises in Adamawa state.

The governor’s aide said it is about visible, measurable and impactful projects that touch the lives of ordinary citizens in every corner of the state.

Musa said Fintiri administration has done so much in the areas of heathcare delivery, education, manpower, infrastructural development etc.

He said Adamawa state is on a path of growth under Governor Fintiri and the people have every reason to be hopeful about the future.

“The truth is, Adamawa has never had it this good in terms of healthcare, education and infrastructure. Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has changed the narrative of governance from empty rhetoric to action. The record is there for all to see and no amount of propaganda can erase it.
“Governor Fintiri deserves commendation, not condemnation. For once, let us rise above party lines and acknowledge the undeniable progress unfolding before us. History will judge leaders not by the noise of their opponents but by the tangible legacies they leave behind.

Governor Fintiri increases corps members’ allowance to N30,000

Recall that as part of the effort to improve the welfare of corps members, Adamawa state governor announced a new monthly stipend for serving corps members.

On Friday, August 1, Governor Fintiri increased the monthly allowance of NYSC members serving in the state from N20,000 to N30,000 and also promised to build a new NYSC camp.

This happened days after his Akwa Ibom counterpart, Umo Eno, increased corps members’ monthly state allowance from N5,000 to N20,000.

Adamawa governor gifts Super Falcons coach house, N50m
