Woman Shares Personal Opinion, Explains Why Aboy Chibuzor’s Wife Married Him: "I Am 100% Sure"

A Nigerian woman has shared her opinion on the marriage between Aboy Chibuzor, the adopted child of Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, who got married to a mother of three, and mentioned a reason why she married him.

Apostle Chibuzor had taken to his social media page to announce that his son got married to the woman on 29 March 2026.

While several people celebrated the news, a few shared their opinions and pointed out different things.

As reactions continue to pour in, a young lady, Ijeoma Chinonyerem, shared her opinion about the wife of Aboy Chibuzor, Mrs. Blessing Chibuzor.

While there have been rumors that she married him for a different purpose, the young lady explained that she is very sure Blessing didn't marry Aboy Chibuzor because of financial gain.

She wrote:

"After decentering men, Nigerian women need to decenter religion. I see a lot of posts about the lady who married Aboy, with people saying she did it because of money."

After she explained that she was sure Blessing didn't enter into a marriage with the autistic man for money, she shared some reasons to back her claims.

Her reason is that she believes Ms. Blessing is not poverty-stricken.

She shared:

"I am 100% sure it is not because of money. The way that woman looks, the way she speaks, everything about her shows she is not poverty-stricken."

Finally, the woman mentioned a reason she believes led Ms. Blessing to marry Aboy Chibuzor.

Ijeoma Chinonyerem wrote on Facebook:

"She also said men have been coming to marry her since she became a widow, but she refused. So it is clearly not because of a lack of men."
"Why did she do it?"
"She did this because of religion."
"If you watched the wedding video, you would see where she said the Holy Spirit asked her to go and marry the young boy, and that it is a sacrifice, like Jesus Christ sacrificed for the church."

Her statement got the attention of many people who took to the comments section to share their thoughts.

In a similar story, Legit.ng reported that a Nigerian lawyer claimed the marriage of Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere’s son to a single mother is legally invalid. The lawyer, in a viral video, gave two main reasons. First, he said that a church ceremony alone does not make a marriage valid unless it is conducted in a licensed place of worship.
