Lady Shares How Much It Costs Her To Relocate From Nigeria To UK on Student Visa

A Nigerian lady gave a breakdown of how much money she spent to relocate to the UK.

The lady who is now a student in the UK said she relocated to the UK as an international student on a partial scholarship.

In her post, @dennars.diaries said she is studying at the University of Salford.

She said her total tuition fee is £16,560 (N33.4 million in today's rates) while she got a scholarship of £2,500 (N5 million).

However, she first made a deposit of £5,500 (about N11.1 million in today's rates) while the rest of the fees are spread across seven months.

She said:

"Remaining balance is £8,560 (to be spread across 7 instalments after your first month of arrival).

Apart from her tuition fees, there were other things she spent money on. For instance, she did a TB test for N146,000.

Also, she presented proof of funds of N40 million, while her visa fee is N1.1 million. She paid N2.5 million for her immigration health surcharge.

Her flight expenses took N1.5 million to travel from Lagos to the UK.

Lady shares how she got visa to move to Japan

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a Nigerian lady explained how she got a visa to travel to Japan to meet her husband, who lives there.

According to the lady, she got married to her husband in December 2024, and they started applying for her Japanese visa.
