Ibom Air: Comfort Emmanson Finally Shares Her Side of Story, Details What Happened inside Plane

• Days after her release from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, Comfort Emmanson has finally detailed what happened inside the plane between her and the air hostess Juliana
• She recounted how she struggled to turn off her phone at the instruction of the air hostess Juliana, whom she later slapped
• Comfort narrated how the air hostess made a 'You will see' remark after the issue with her turning off her phone

Seven days after her controversial ordeal with the Ibom Air crew and air hostess, Comfort Emmanson has shared her side of the story.

In a new video on her Instagram page, Comfort appreciated Nigerians for their support and detailed what went down aboard the Uyo-Lagos aircraft before the viral physical altercation at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

Comfort Emmanson details what air hostess did

According to Comfort, she had two phones and was told by the air hostess, whom she later slapped, to turn off the faulty one, but she struggled to do so and sought help from a male passenger.

She noted that the air hostess appeared unhospitable and remarked, 'You will see' after a male passenger eventually helped her turn it off.

Comfort said she could not turn off the phone on her own as its power button was not in good condition, which she showed the air hostess, who was having none of her excuses.

After that moment, she realised the air hostess blocked her from alighting from the flight and eventually dragged her frontal wig and pulled off her neck chain while she tried to understand why the hostess stopped her from leaving the plane with no reason.

Comfort, who is still receiving treatment, said she is still traumatised and can't step out because of the video, which had her chest area exposed. Her narration partly reads:

"...When I came out, the love I saw, the support from the people, I never expected it. For a commoner like me, you guys fought for me, you guys stood by me.

"I want to appreciate you all. I say that God Almighty will bless you all. So, on the 10th of August on Sunday, I boarded a flight from Uyo to Lagos. So, when we were inside the aircraft, the normal procedure, the lady Juliana (air hostess) was telling everybody from the front seat coming to the back - because I was at the back.

"She came to me...She said...While she came to me...When she was coming forward, I was struggling to put my phone on flight mode. She said no, that I have to put it off.

"So, I told her that one of my phones, because I was with two phones, is faulty. The phone is bad. The power button is bad.

"So, I showed her that the power button is bad. She said I can put off my phone without the power button. I said okay. She said I should go to my settings.

"So, while she was telling me to go to my settings and all that, she said got to your general.

"So, while trying to do that, the pressure from her, the man that was sitting on my right now helped me and off one of the phones.

"He put one of the phones off while we were struggling with the other one...Before then, I told her, please can you assist me and spell general, she said she can't touch my phone.

"She can never touch my phone. Children of nowadays. So, I now told the guy that helped me off one of my phones. I told him, please can you assist me and spell general?

"So, the guy now collected my phone and showed me and spelt general. So, when I went to her (Juliana, the air hostess) to show that I an on 'general' now, the face that she was even giving me was not even encouraging..."

Comfort Emmanson's father breaks silence

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Comfort Emmanson's father had expressed anger over how his daughter was embarrassed by the Ibom Air crew.

Comfort was dragged off an Ibom Air plane, charged in court, and remanded in the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, Lagos, for slapping an air hostess. She was released on Wednesday.

When interviewed about the incident, Comfort's father, in a video shared on Facebook by Amanda Chisom, said he does not know why things panned out that way for his daughter.
