The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has officially celebrated the extraordinary achievement of Assistant Comptroller of Customs, Akpevwe Ogboru—widely known by her trail name, Tracta 2—who successfully completed a daring 35-day motorbike expedition from Nigeria to Belgium.

Ogboru arrived at the Nigerian Embassy in Brussels at precisely 12:47 p.m. on Thursday, 4th September 2025, marking the culmination of a journey that spanned over 10,265 kilometres across two continents and ten countries.

Ride for Women Inclusivity and Cross-Border Research Gains Global Attention

Ogboru’s journey, which commenced on 1st August 2025, was undertaken under the theme “Ride for Women Inclusivity and Cross-Border Research”. According to the NCS, the expedition was designed to spotlight critical issues surrounding gender inclusivity and girl child empowerment. The initiative also served as a unique form of cross-border research, drawing attention to themes of connectivity, mobility, and cultural exchange.
