Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has spoken out after controversies erupted during the premiere of her mother’s new film, The Return of Arinzo, on Sunday, March 29.
The event, which drew several Nollywood stars, was marked by viral moments, including Funke Akindele snubbing Toyin Abraham’s greeting and Madam Saje ignoring Odunlade Adekola’s attempt to greet her.

Reacting through a lengthy Instagram post, Priscilla, also known as Priscy, noted that since her mother announced the movie, controversies have followed one after another.

She said there seemed to be a deliberate pattern aimed at ruining Iyabo Ojo’s plans, but expressed confidence that the film would succeed.
“Always misunderstood, always blamed !! even when she’s not the one in the mix . Since Arinzo’s announcement can’t you see the pattern alot of drama back to back just for one aim: ruin her plans But God’s stronger than man. And this movie will sell in Jesus’ name! 🙏🏽” She wrote on her Instagram page.
She explained that whenever her mother stays quiet, people twist the story, and when she speaks, they get angry and still twist it.
“When she’s quiet, they twist the story!!!! When she speaks, they get angry about the truth 🤷♀️and still twist the story!”
Priscy added that her mother’s good heart always shines through, pointing to the large turnout at the premiere as proof of the support she enjoys.
She explained that Iyabo Ojo often fights battles for others but is left alone when it is her turn.
