In a revealing Facebook post, Nwafor claimed that Blessing CEO had been privately reaching out to the family to manage the situation away from the public eye.

He also added that she confessed that she was chasing clout. However, he made it clear that such efforts would not be accepted.

“Secret begging will not help,” he wrote bluntly.

Nwafor alleged that, beyond the public narrative, Blessing CEO had directly contacted them following the backlash over the alleged use of Deborah’s medical report.

“We want an open apology,” he stated, emphasising that any resolution must be done publicly.

Nwafor stressed that the situation involved not just his sister but also Nigerians whose lives the cancer claim may have misled.

As a result, he argued that a quiet settlement would not be enough.

“We want an open apology to my sister… and to the innocent Nigerians,” he added.

Amid the back-and-forth, Nwafor revealed that his sister is currently dealing with emotional distress.
