Gunmen Kill 8 People In Agatu LGA Of Benue State

Eight people were reportedly killed in Agatu LGA, Benue State as a result of the attack by the unknown gunmen.
According to the House of Assembly local representative Sule Audu, the gunmen launched the attack when some men were dredging sand in the river.
The victim's bodies were moved to the council headquarters Obagaji, and the soldiers were also directed to the place.
The lawmaker asked security officials not to restrict their movement in the whole area of Agatu.
Police spokesman confirmed the incident, adding that the remains of the victims have been taken to the mortuary.
