A Nigerian man recently showed up at his kids' school function dressed in his engineering outfit.

The Nigerian man Adewale Adeniyi, an engineer by profession, represented well at his female kids school's Career Day.

According to Adewale on LinkedIn, his kids were thrilled to see their dad show up that way. In the image he shared, a PPE-wearing Adewale was flanked by his daughters who wore doctor and nurse outfit representing the medical profession.

He revealed that his motive for wearing such an outfit was to promote the cause of engineering among the lads as well as influence their choice of a future career aspiration.

He wrote:

"So, I joined my children to celebrate their School's Career Day yesterday. They were excited to see me in my PPE and visiting their school just like this.
"I used the opportunity to engage the beautiful children and explained to them why Engineers appear like this while working on the field.
"I made them to understand that safety is the number one priority of all Engineering endeavors and Engineers don't create what they cannot control.
"The purpose is to promote Engineering among the children and win their minds in choosing Engineering as career."

His post gained huge traction as many people engaged his motive as well as their outfits.

The man named Michael, who runs a non-governmental organisation by name Raising Stars Africa, stated it is a thing of joy for him being the reason why people smiled.
