Popular Nigerian textile and batik designer, Chief Nike Davies Okundaye, clocked the age of 70 on Sunday, May 23, and was lovingly celebrated by friends, family members and several other people who have grown to love and appreciate her works.
However, the celebration did not end with online shout-outs and social media post as there was also a physical celebration to mark the new age.

Guests and other well-wishers trooped down to the popular Eko Convention Centre at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos to celebrate with the much-loved textile and batik designer.
